Three Olympique Marseille players were the victims of an attempted car-jacking on Monday morning as they returned to Marseille following their 2-1 victory over Le Havre AC on the final day of the season. As per La Provence, Cameroonian players Jean Onana, 24, Faris Moumbagna, 23, and Ivory Coast footballer Bamo Meite, 22, were in a convoy of vehicles travelling from the club’s training centre when they were targeted by criminals intent on stealing their cars.
