Compel SC eyes seasoned players for NSL promotion bid

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division One outfit Compel FC is set to be active during the off-season transfer window as they aim to recruit experienced players in their bid for automatic promotion to the National Super League (NSL) next season.Compel narrowly missed out on promotion in their debut season in the third tier, finishing fourth with 52 points.The George Mutimba-led side was on track to secure a playoff spot, but a penultimate-day defeat to St. Joseph’s Youth dashed their hopes, with Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) beating them to the playoffs.##NAJAVA_MECA_8136747##In an interview, Mutimba, noted that the team needs seasoned players to enhance their chances of climbing to the NSL.He added that the current squad lacks the cutting edge to compete with the best sides in the league.”Many of our players are local and lack high-level experience.
