Tusker star Daniel Sakari calls for better pre-season ahead of 2024-2025 FKFPL season

A better pre-season will be key for Tusker if they are to make amends for what they have termed as a failure in the FKF Premier League.Tusker, who have in the recent past been the only team that has been able to dethrone the otherwise dominant Gor Mahia for the league titles, found it difficult to compete against the 21 league champions thanks to the struggles witnessed in the first leg.The slow start to the season saw the Ruaraka-based club lose five of its first 10 matches of the season. At that point, Gor Mahia were still unbeaten in the league, and catching up with them was going to be an uphill task for the brewers. They then overcame their poor form and mounted a fight in the second leg but the job was always going to be a difficult one. To date, they have lost nine matches compared to only two matches for Gor Mahia who have already won the league with three games still to play. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8151662##Right back and Kenyan International Daniel Sakari who termed their performance this season a disappointing one believes pre-season is key.“We need to have a better pre-season in order to participate and compete better next season.
