Harambee Starlets stagnate in latest FIFA rankings

Harambee Starlets have remained 151st globally in the latest FIFA rankings.The Kenyan women’s national team hasn’t played any matches since they were knocked out by Botswana while trying to qualify for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. This has kept their ranking unchanged.In Africa, the rankings are fairly stable with Nigeria at the top. The Super Falcons are ranked 36th in the world, making them the best team on the continent. South Africa is next, ranked 51st globally. Morocco, despite dropping one spot, is third in Africa at 59th in the world. Zambia has moved up to 64th, while Ghana has dropped slightly to 65th. Spain is still number one after winning all their EURO 2025 qualifiers. France has moved up to second place, overtaking England, while Germany is now fourth. Sweden and Japan remain in sixth and seventh place. The top ten is rounded out by Canada, Brazil, and North Korea, who are eighth, ninth, and tenth, respectively.
