Golf fans have long complained about TV broadcasts. Whether it be the commercial load, the subpar commentators or a lack of ingenuity, fans have been begging for golf broadcasts to improve for years. Well, viewers were disappointed again Saturday during the third round of the 2024 U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina when NBC struggled through a variety of technical difficulties during one of the biggest events of the year.
At one point, one of the NBC trucks was not operating correctly which led to a lack of graphics and camera angles.
This quickly made its way to social media and fans weren’t happy, to say the least.
