I have played more matches this season as compared to the last. I have had assists under my name and as a defense, we have conceded fewer goals. I have one goal just as last season but I might find another before the season ends,” said Wanjala”It is obvious that we have done better than last season. It has been a little more comfortable. We have also had a mixture of young players and experienced ones and I feel we have gelled well so far and everyone is pulling their fair share of weight,” added Wanjala.##NAJAVA_MECA_8167954##The former Nzoia United defender scored one of this season’s best goals when he curled his free kick from the left side of Kakamega Homeboyz’s goal just next to the corner flag and to the right top corner that beat James Ssetuba in the Homeboyz goal. It was a product of practice, he says.“I am happy with the goal. I always work and practice for those set pieces and I am glad that it bore fruit on this occasion.”Nairobi City Stars and Wanjala will be looking forward to having an even better performance next season as they prepare to challenge for the league title.
