Cheers, tears and titles: Andy Murray’s two decades at Wimbledon – video

Andy Murray’s Wimbledon singles career has come to an end after he was unable to sufficiently recover from the back surgery he underwent 10 days ago. Murray first played at Wimbledon in 2005 and won two of his three grand slam titles there, becoming the first British man in 77 years to win the title in 2013 before he did so again in 2016. He also won an Olympic singles gold medal at Wimbledon at London 2012. Murray will, however, still enjoy a sentimental farewell alongside his older brother, Jamie, after confirming that he will be playing in the doubles.
