National Super League (NSL) outfit Luanda Villa is set to unveil a new sponsor before the start of the new campaign, Mozzart Sport can confirm.Villa finished eighth in their inaugural season in the second tier, which was marred by financial difficulties and the departure of key players to more established teams.Nevertheless, these challenges are soon to be overcome.Mozzart Sport understands that a deal with a Kenyan gaming firm has been finalized and will be publicly announced before the start of the 2024/2025 season.The details of the agreement remain undisclosed, but sources close to the negotiations suggest a potential three-year deal, with the sponsorship amount increasing each season.Villa Chairman Moses Akhabele confirmed the development, stating, “We are going to have a sponsor next season. If we had the financial muscle, we could have finished in the promotion brackets. We were unable to match player allowances, and when the transfer window opened, we lost key players because we were not paying them,” Akhabele said.He also highlighted the playing unit’s main challenges: “Most of our players lacked experience. We had major issues with goalkeeping and our attack line.
