AFC Leopards has reached an out of court settlement with two former coaches and a former physiotherapist who sued the club demanding millions of shillings.In a big move for the club, the two parties on Tuesday agreed to a payment plan that will be deposited at the Sports Dispute Tribunal (SDT) bringing to an end the dispute.Former head Tom Juma, goalkeeper trainer Lawrence Webo and physiotherapist Boniventure Odire had sued the club demanding millions of shillings following their dismissal six months ago.Duo heads to SDT demanding millions from AFC LeopardsFollowing discussions with lawyers from both parties, the matter was sent for arbitration culminating in Tuesday’s announcement at the tribunal.Tribunal chairman John Ohaga marked the matter as closed even as he asked both parties to deposit the agreement they had reached with the court.That said, AFC Leopards have however been given seven months to pay midfielder Kevin Kimani more than Sh.2million.##NAJAVA_MECA_8204431##The club has agreed to pay the midfielder who is still on contract for breach of contract.In another matter, six players who sued Bandari for unfair termination of their contract will be paid in eight monthly installments starting from August 1, the tribunal ruled.The six are Douglas Mokaya Oyioka, Faraj Ominde, Johana Mwita, Zakayo Keegan, Felix Oluoch and Christopher Ochieng.The players were laid off before the start of the just ended season even though they still had running contracts with the dockers.SDT awards former Bandari midfielder Douglas Mokaya in excess of a million shillingsThey will be paid more than Sh.5million cumulatively for breach of contract. The players’ lawyer had sought to have the amount be paid in four months but the tribunal said it had to balance between the need to have them paid and also allow the club to run.The amount will become due immediately should Bandari fail to pay or delay to pay even a single installment.
