Sofapaka winger Darius Msagha has confirmed that Sunday’s clash against Naivas will be his final match with the club’s colours as he will be seeking fresh challenge ahead of the new season. Sofapaka will host Naivas on Sunday at Dandora Stadium in the second leg of the relegation/promotion playoff clash. The match will provide an opportunity for Sofapaka faithfuls to see the last of Msagha as he has confirmed that he will exit the club after the game. Sofapaka have had a season to forget as they spent the better part of it flirting with relegation and will have to get favourable results tomorrow to retain their place in the top tier. ##NAJAVA_MECA_9632##Msagha was the one of the outstanding and shinning stars in the rather dark season as he found the back of the net eleven times across all competitions. The flanker revealed that he had struck an exit deal with the management to leave, the club, before the expiry of the two-year long deal he signed last year, in case he secured better offers. “The game against Naivas will be my last at Sofapaka. I had agreed with the management to leave the club in case I get good offers. I hope to meet them after the game for talks for I am not interested in leaving in an acrimonious way,” he told Mozzart Sport. Asked on the offers lying on his table, Msagha revealed that the race for his signature had attracted at least five clubs with Bandari and Kenya Police leading in the chase. Interestingly, Bandari let the winger leave last year for Sofapaka. KCB, Tusker and Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars are reportedly drooling for his signature. “I am weighing the options and studying the offers. Police and Bandari are pushing hard for my signature but I will make up my mind after Sunday,” he stated. A win or draw of any kind will be enough for Batoto Ba Mungu to sail through. Sofapaka won the first leg, staged last weekend at the Police Sacco Grounds,by a Jacob Onyango solitary goal. “We are ready for the game and committed to win. Every player at the club joined when it was in the top tier and we wouldn’t want to be remembered as the crop that sunk it to the second tier,” he added.
