Ulinzi Stars have confirmed the reappointment of Danstun Nyaudo as their new head coach. He takes over from Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani, who left the club on Tuesday after one season.Kimani exited the military outfit upon the expiration of his contract. This past season has been an incredible journey, filled with challenges, triumphs, and countless memories that I will cherish forever,” Kimani said in a statement.The club has now issued a statement confirming Nyaudo’s return. Former Kenyan international Francis Onyiso also makes a return as the goalkeepers’ coach, with Hamisi Abdala and Fadhili Yaya serving as Nyaudo’s deputies.“We today welcomed Coach Nyaudo, who will serve as the head coach and will be assisted by Hamisi Abdala, Fadhili Yaya, and Francis Onyiso,” read the club statement.Nyaudo is not new to the military outfit as he has handled the team a couple of times, with his last stint ending in 2020 after a poor run of form.Signs that he was soon going to make a comeback to the senior team started to show when he took charge of the newly formed Ulinzi U20 team, leading to murmurs that he was preparing himself for a return to the 2010 league champions.
