It’s morning in the United States, but it’s well into the afternoon in Scotland, and Tiger Woods is set to get underway in the opening round of the 2024 Open Championship.
This marks the first time Woods has teed it up in all four majors in one year since 2019. He also hasn’t made the cut in the Open since 2018, when he finished T-6 at Carnoustie.
This week, Royal Troon is the battlefield where Woods will look to make his second cut of the year, joining his historic triumph at the Masters in April. He’s playing alongside Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay and tees off at 9:37 a.m. ET.
