See how the 18 LIV golfers are doing so far at the 2024 British Open at Royal Troon

The Masters had 13, the PGA Championship included 16 and the U.S. Open had 12.

The 152nd Open Championship, however, features the largest contingent of players from LIV Golf in the majors in 2024. The British Open began with 18 golfers from LIV, including the golfer who won the Open the last time it was held at Royal Troon’s Old Course (Henrik Stenson, 2016).

Cameron Smith (2022) and Louis Oosthuizen (2010) are the other LIV Golf players who have British Open victories on their resumes.

LIV’s Bryson DeChambeau won the last major, the U.S. Open, in June but an opening-round 76 derailed his quest for the Claret Jug.

Meanwhile, the top LIV golfer so far might be a name that surprises some people.
