These are the 7 LIV Golf players who will compete at 2024 Olympics

It’a almost time for the 2024 Paris Olympic games. That means, another heightened golf competition on a worldwide stage.

Come Friday, the Olympics will begin in France, and next week, the men’s golf competition will kick off featuring 60 players from across the globe.

The men’s competition is set for Aug. 1-4 and the women’s Aug. 7-10. This summer will mark the third consecutive Olympic Games to include golf after its return to the schedule in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Sixty players earned a spot based on the official International Golf Federation world ranking list as of June 17, 2024. The Olympic qualifying criteria is designed to ensure players from around the world are represented, including a large portion of the field ranked outside the top 200.

The top 15 players in the world are eligible, with a limit of four players from any given country. The rest of the field came from the rankings, with a maximum of two eligible players from each country that does not already have two or more players in the top 15. The host country, France, is ensured at least one spot.

Of the 60 players teeing it up at Le Golf National, seven of them call LIV Golf home. Here’s a look at the seven LIV Golf players competing in the Olympics:
