Mwangi eyeing redemption after disappointing debut season at Tusker

Joseph Mwangi was the best midfielder in the 2022-2023 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season as he found the back of the net 14 times and registered seven assists.The goal contributions he had in that season, with Nzoia Sugar, turned him into a hotcake in the transfer window as all league giants jostled for his signature. Tusker won the battle for Mwangi’s signature and handed the creative midfielder a two-year-long contract.##NAJAVA_MECA_8235053##His maiden season at Ruaraka was characterized by ups and downs and in the end, he fell short of the targets he had set and expectations. Mwangi scored a paltry two goals last season but he believes in second chances even as he seeks to redeem himself in the new campaign. He says, more than 20 goal contributions are his irreducible minimum in the season, and he hopes he will be named the best midfielder.Gor Mahia’s Austin Odhiambo dedicates MVP award to ailing mother”Things were tough in my first season at the club.
