While they did not score many goals, Ingwe had the second-best defence in the league after conceding 23 goals, just three more than champions Gor Mahia. The duo was among the most trusted lieutenants by coach Tomas Trucha, playing over 2000 minutes. Their performances with the big cats earned them a place in the Harambee Stars squad for the Four Nations Invitational Tournament in Malawi.Musa Mohammed praises police FC as best-managed team in FKF Premier LeagueMeanwhile, Omune appears to be the favourite to bag the award, as he was the top scorer at Ingwe with eight goals in all competitions. In what was a difficult season that saw the club struggle to score, Omune came to Ingwe’s rescue with key goals that eventually enabled them to turn around their season and finish fifth.More nominees in all categories will be named before giving fans a chance to vote for their best performers.
