Newly-appointed FC Talanta coach Jackline Juma can’t wait to test her skills in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League when the new season kicks off on August 24.Juma will be making history, in the new season, as the first female coach to handle a club in the men’s top tier following her appointment at Talanta which was confirmed on Friday. The CAF A license holder says she will not settle for less despite being her first time to man the touchline at a stage which the performance of tacticians is always under sharp scrutiny. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8261877##She insists that a top five finish will be her irreducible minimum in the season, a target which will see Talanta surpass their best performances since promotion, should she achieve it. “I am ready for the challenge ahead of me. Making it to the top five is all what I want to achieve with the team,” she told Mozzart Sport.
