Gor Mahia CEO Raymond Oruo has shed light on the ongoing passport saga that has embroiled their right back Rooney Onyango leading to his absence from their CAF Champions League squad.It has emerged that Rooney has been caught up in an immigration saga with the Italian embassy which flagged his documents during the verification of his visa application.The former Wazito FC defender was equally missing from the Gor Mahia squad that travelled to Juba, South Sudan for the CAF Champions League qualifiers against Al Merreikh.Gor Mahia head coach explains reason for Austin Odhiambo’s previous absenceIn an exclusive interview with Mozzart Sport, Oruo says that his absence from the travelling party has to do with his travel documents.“Rooney is registered at CAF for the Champions League and was named in the Juba trip.
