Another Madueke blunder ahead of the Wolves game

Noni Madueke has some exceptional talent and speed and nobody else can take that away from him. But other stuff, mostly the emotional ones are getting in the way too much. His emotional inteligence (to put it mildly) is making him problems. Chelsea fans can hardly remember a game last season in which he was the best player or scored a injury-time winner, but they all remember the unplesant scenes in front of the whole world when he didn’t want to give Cole Palmer the ball to take the penalty. And now, during the first months of a new coach’s mandate at the club, and with all these talks about player sales, he is again in the middle of attention, and again not because of his football skills.Chelsea winger Noni Madueke isn’t a fan of Wolverhampton… This was from his IG story last night! 😅 pic.twitter.com/2KnXIvgRWx— Footy Accumulators (@FootyAccums) August 25, 2024 On Instagram on Saturday night, a day before the game with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Madueke appeared to brand Wolverhampton ‘s***’ before swiftly deleting the post. “Everything about this place is s**t“ he wrote, with Wolverhampton location shared on a post. He deleted the post later, writing ‘Damn wrong Instagram account. You lot are too fast’ but it was too late, as most of his 900.000 followers on Instagram saw it and then screenshot it.Sterling stripped off his shirt number as Chelsea keep forcing him outSurely another media blunder won’t help his case with coach Enco Maresca. He was already an unused substitute in the Blues’ season-opening defeat by Manchester City last weekend, and only made the bench in the Conference League play-off against Servette in midweek, though came off it to score.“I really like Noni Madueke. The only problem with him is that he has to understand that he has to be consistent during the week every training, every training, every training. But he is a good player and he is doing well with us since we started. The only thing that he has to improve is that he has to be consistent; every day, everyday, every day work hard. And then he will get minutes for sure” said Maresca, obviously revealing that inconsistency is his main problem, football wise.PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHDAY 2SaturdayBrighton – Man.Utd. 2-1 (1-0)/Welbeck 32, Pedro 90+5 – Diallo 60/Fulham – Leicester 2-1 (1-1)/Smith Rowe 18, Iwobi 70 – Faes 38/Tottenham – Everton 4-0 (2-0)/Bissouma 14, Son 25, 77, Romero 71/Crystal Palace – West Ham 0-2 (0-0)/Soucek 67, Bowen 72/Man.City – Ipswich 4-1 (3-1)/Haaland 12 pen, 15, 88, De Bruyne 14 – Szmodics 7/Southampton – Nott.Forest 0-1 (0-0)/Gibbs-White 70/Aston Villa – Arsenal 0-2 (0-0)/Trossard 67, Partey 77/Sunday 16:00: (4.70) Wolverhampton (3.70) Chelsea (1.85)16:00: (3.20) Bournemouth (3.60) Newcastle (2.30)18:30: (1.25) Liverpool (6.50) Brentford (10.0)***odds are subject to change***
