It’s time for one of the greatest women’s amateur competitions in the world, the Curtis Cup.
The 43rd Curtis Cup is set for Aug. 30-Sept. 1 at Sunningdale in England. The Curtis Cup is an eight-woman competition between the best amateurs from the United States against their counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland. This is the first Curtis Cup contested at Sunningdale and the 10th in England.
The Americans own a 31-8-3 lead in the biennial competition.
The United States’ roster is highlighted by two-time Curtis Cup member Rachel Kuehn, who in 2022 at Merion sunk the match-clinching putt.
