Nzoia Sugar FC head coach Charles Odera has welcomed with open arms the postponement of the 2024-2025 National Super League (NSL) season.The second tier was supposed to start last weekend, but it was delayed by another two weeks following the unanimous request of the participating teams and will now begin on the weekend of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.The former Muhoroni Youth coach, who was recently appointed to bring the Millers back to the FKF Premier League, acknowledges that they were short on preparations and is pleased with the league rescheduling, stating that it will allow them ample time to prepare for the upcoming season.##NAJAVA_MECA_8325941##”We started pre-season training late, and we weren’t ready to compete successfully if the league started last weekend. However, I am pleased with the deferment since it will allow us more time to iron out our kinks and be ready for the season,” said the former Chemelil Sugar star.The ex-APS Bomet tactician believes that the two weeks arising by the adjournment of the season kick-off was a blessing in disguise, as he is confident that the time would be enough to prepare the team for strong results.”I feel the two more weeks will be useful because we were behind by the same amount of time in our preseason preparations.
