It has been a long time since the club won the league and it would be great to do it this time,” he saidThe 24-year-old was glad to play in Kenya’s top-flight league once again, six years after he left Sharks for Swedish club Vasalund and thereafter stints at different clubs outside the country.From Vasalund, he joined South African side Marumo Gallants in 2021 and left prematurely to join Township Rollers in Botswana in 2022 before returning to South Africa, this time signing for Richards Bay FC where he made eight appearances after which he returned home and joined AFC Leopards.AFC Leopards captain reflects on gritty victory over City Stars“I am glad to have finally made my debut for the club. I was supposed to do that against Bidco but unfortunately, I did not travel for the match,” he stated.The Kenyan international also disclosed that he does not want to be too hard on himself but promises to give his best for the club even as is on the road to full fitness.“I would not say that I want to be the top scorer or the best player because that would be putting too much pressure on myself but I want to give it my best especially after I am fully fit,” he said.He will also be hoping that his star shines brighter this season to regain a place in the national team, Harambee Stars.
