- New Zealander will compete for RB in final six rounds
- Horner: ‘All the drivers are under pressure to deliver’
The Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, has indicated Liam Lawson has an opportunity to make his case to replace Sergio Pérez alongside Max Verstappen at the team, potentially as early as next season.
Horner noted that they dropped Daniel Ricciardo for Lawson at their sister team RB, because the Australian had failed to prove he was in good enough form to step up and so the team opted to give the young New Zealander a chance for the rest of this season.
