Kenya Police FC interim head coach Beldine Odemba has shared her perspective on the differences between coaching men’s and women’s football teams after overseeing her first match in the FKF Premier League.Odemba, who is the head coach of the Police Women’s team, was appointed to lead the men’s team on an interim basis after the management dismissed the entire men’s team staff, sparing only the players. In fact, I’ve coached men’s football more than women’s. Police is the first place where I’ve really coached women. The difference might just be in the pace, and that men grasp tactics more easily,” said Odemba.The former Mathare United attaché also expressed her desire to fully transition back to coaching men’s football, where she began her career.”I’ve always expressed my wish to coach men’s football. This opportunity, though unexpected and interim, brings me closer to that goal.
