FC Talanta head coach Jackline Juma has remained composed despite the team’s challenging start to the season. The side has managed only one win in the matches played and has gone winless in six consecutive outings.##NAJAVA_MECA_8519444##Currently sitting in 17th place on the log, the Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK)-sponsored outfit has played seven matches, securing just one victory, three draws, and three losses. The team’s sole win came during their league opener, a 1-0 triumph over Sofapaka. However, since then, Talanta has been unable to replicate that success. Their recent outings include defeats to Tusker (3-1), Mathare United (2-0), and KCB (2-1). They have also managed draws against Kariobangi Sharks (1-1), Bandari (0-0), and Bidco United (1-1). Their narrow 2-1 loss to league leaders KCB FC further compounded their woes.Despite these setbacks, Coach Juma insists she is not under any pressure.“I am not under pressure because of our position, but it challenges us to work harder to climb up the ladder,” she told Mozzart Sport after the match against KCB.Victor Wanyama on why playing under Arsenal legend Thierry Henry ‘wasn’t easy’Reflecting on the team’s performance against the league leaders, Juma highlighted the positives from the second half.“The game was amazing, especially in the second half. Players played according to our game plan. We played with two number tens, so we attacked more in the second half,” she added. While their current position in the standings is far from ideal, Juma remains focused on finding solutions to improve the team’s performance.FC Talanta will host Ulinzi Stars on Wednesday, 27 November, at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, as they hope to end their winless streak.Shabana explain James Mazembe’s switch to defense
