The period of campaigning will have been over.”And in a confirmation of the number of delegates and clubs set to take part in the FKF Elective Special General Meeting, Owila said both Nyamira and Homabay counties would not be involved due to ongoing court cases, as well as the Kenya Football Referee’s Association, who he didn’t give a reason for. That means the total number of delegates and clubs will be 90, and not 93.“We are fully appreciative of the role FKF, FIFA and CAF have played in this process to ensure we align to the required global standards,” Owila added. “It is therefore upon all candidates to adhere to the declarations they signed up for. Any disruption will be dealt with disciplinary measures, and that has already been communicated.”4 candidates pitch camps in various towns ahead of FKF presidential electionsA total of eight candidates are expected to battle it out for the FKF Presidential seat, with nine vying for the National Executive Committee (NEC) and women representative posts.
