Storm Darragh postpones Everton – Liverpool derby

Merseyside Police have advised residents to avoid traveling in the region as a red weather warning has been issued. The Everton–Liverpool derby was meant to be the last city clash played at Goodison Park before the Toffees move to their new stadium, set to open next season. Liverpool currently leads the Premier League, holding a seven-point advantage over London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, while Everton finds itself in the lower half of the table, sitting in 15th place and fighting to remain in England’s top football division.
