The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections have ushered in a new chapter in Kenyan football as Hussein Mohammed and MacDonald Mariga’s coalition swept most of the FKF National Executive Committee (NEC) seats.Ninety delegates representing FKF County branches, FKF Premier League clubs, the National Super League (NSL), the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL), and the Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KeFWA) cast their votes to elect a team to lead Kenyan football for the next four years.Among the notable winners, AFC Leopards Chairman Dan Shikanda and Murang’a Seal Chairman Robert Macharia are two of the eight NEC members entrusted with shaping the future of the sport.##NAJAVA_MECA_8556165##In the Coast Region, Gabriel Mghendi emerged victorious with 32 votes, outpacing Edward Oduor, Ericsson Kyongo, and Athman Mwamiri.In Central, Robert Macharia secured the seat with 54 votes, defeating Gordon Davies, who received 35 votes, while one vote was declared invalid.Charles Njagi, the National Super League side 3K FC chairman, triumphed in the Eastern Region, garnering 40 votes.
