Kenyatta declares himself ready to succeed Engin Firat as Harambee Stars coach

Former Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Kenneth Kenyatta has sensationally claimed that he is the right man to succeed Engin Firat as the national team head coach.Firat resigned as Harambee Stars head coach earlier in the week, bringing an end to his three-year matches which was characterised by underwhelming performance in competitive matches.The Turkish tactician, who succeeded Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee in September 2021, guided Stars to three wins in the 16 competitive matches he took charge of.With stakeholders calling on the new regime to hire a local coach, Kenyatta has boldly expressed his desire to serve the nation, arguing that he is qualified enough.##NAJAVA_MECA_8544866##The former FC Talanta coach believes he has amassed enough coaching experience, and understands what it means to play for the national team having done so between 1990-1997.The CAF A license holder is currently a free agent having parted ways with Homeboyz in October following the humiliating 5-1 defeat to KCB.”I am more than ready to coach Harambee Stars.
