The pitch and terraces meet the required standards.“The VIP area is particularly well done, and we have decided that some of our matches will be played there,” he said.Ocholla also noted that they were impressed by the large turnout of fans at the stadium when they won their match 9-8 against the Ugandan club.He added that they are waiting for the relevant Football Kenya Federation (FKF) committee to approve the venue for league matches before listing it as one of their home grounds.Apart from Machakos Stadium, Gor Mahia currently uses Jaramogi Oginga Stadium in Homabay for their home matches.
