English football fans are all about tradition and statistic and winning streaks. So when Newcastle vs Bournemouth game came up, it was all about the Magpies and Alexander Isak. Newcastle needed a win today in order to make it 10 consecutive wins, which they have never done in their history, while the Swedish strike was chasing Jamie Vardy scoring streak (11 in a row). But somehow, nobody mentioned that their opponents are not only ’giant-killers’ (Manchester City, Arsenal), but that they are on a 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions as well and that they are actually chasing Newcastle for a place in Europe next season. What’s more important, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has been in charge of all 13 Premier League meetings between Newcastle and Bournemouth – he’s won just two of these 13 games (D6 L5), and is yet to beat his former side as Magpies manager (D4 L1). And the tradition continued today, when the Cherries broke all Newcastle winning streaks with a stunning 4-1 win at St. James Park.Even without many injured players, the guests totally nullified the hosts and not only excluded their two best players from the game (Isac, Gordon), but they also created many chances, scored two goals and were deprived of one. A totally deserved victory for Bournemouth who is playing fast, with little possession and touch but was lethal in counter attack. They played like a true outsider in this game, with a low block and fast wing players and they used that for another victory. When they are heavy favorites they struggle, but today it was not the case. They had numerous chances but Martin Dubravka saved the Magpies from a embarrassing defeat. And today, the game’s hero was the son of a former Magpies’s striker. Patrick Kluivert has a rich career and played for Newcastle as well, while his son ‘killed’ the Magpies today with a hat-trick. Mohamed Salah (11) has scored more Premier League goals away from home this season than Bournemouth’s Justin Kluivert. 🚨🏴 GOAL | Newcastle 1-3 Bournemouth | Justin KluivertJUSTIN KLUIVERT HAS COMPLETED THE HAT-TRICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
