Nairobi City Stars midfielder Elvis Noor believes that it is just a matter of time before his younger brother Timothy Ouma becomes the second Kenyan to feature in the English Premier League (EPL). Ouma has enjoyed meteoric rise since breaking to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in August 2020 when he was barely 16 years, as City Stars secured his signature after school.Four years later, Ouma finds himself playing professional football in Czech Republic as giants Slavia Prague broke the bank to sign him last month.Before joining Slavia for a reported fee of Kshs. 473 million, Ouma had served Swedish top tier side IF Elfsborg for two seasons and further, had incredible performances in European football with the club.##NAJAVA_MECA_8692808##Besides that, he has featured for the national U20, Rising Stars and the senior team in various assignments, including the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.His quick rise has left his elder brother convinced that he is destined to the EPL, which is largely regarded as the best inter-club football competitions in the world.Former Stars captain Victor Wanyama remains the most-succesful Kenyan footballer in the EPL having played for Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur between 2023-2020.Jonah Ayunga, Tyler Onyango have also had a taste of the competition at Brighton and Everton respectively.Although, he chose Belgium over Kenya, striker Divock Origi enjoyed massive success during his time at Liverpool.
