Michael Olunga’s message to Kenyans ahead of first home match in 4 years

Harambee Stars skipper Michael Olunga has a message to Kenyans ahead of the team’s return to the Nyayo National Stadium after more than three years of staging international matches in other countries.The last time Harambee Stars hosted a competitive match at home was on 15, November 2021 against Rwanda in a 2022 World Cup Qualifying match.Since then, Kenya has been forced to host her home matches elsewhere due to the unavailability of a CAF-approved stadium in the country.Millions FKF expect from Harambee Stars’ first home game in 4 yearsWith Nyayo Stadium being passed fit by CAF after renovations and upgradig, Stars will host their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match against Gabon on Sunday 23,March 2025.Ahead of the match, Olunga is urging fans to show up in large numbers and back their bid to punch a ticket to the 2026 World Cup finals.##NAJAVA_MECA_8790125##“I urge our fans and Kenyans at large to turn up in large numbers on Sunday and give us the 12th-man support that we need and have been missing.
