Kenya’s resilience, showed in buckeloads on Thursday, was exemplified by Ouma’s movement on the left, as he hustled past two players before setting up Olunga for a near-post finish.There was hope when Jonah Ayunga and Duke Abuya came in to salvage a point, but the heroics of The Gambia match were too good to be repeated twice. A home loss and perhaps, a World Cup place gone with it.
