PSG decide on a new, 90,000-seat stadium

It’s not official yet, but Paris Saint-Germain will soon completely relocate to the suburbs of Paris! The news has shaken France—PSG’s executives have chosen Massy, a commune in the Paris suburbs, as the site for their new billion-euro project. After months of consultations, market and location analysis, political discussions, and strategic planning, PSG’s Qatari owners have decided to leave the Parc des Princes and invest their money in a stadium that is already being described in France as a true “spaceship.”🚨💣 LE PSG VA INSTALLER SON NOUVEAU STADE À MASSY (91) !✅ Massy accueillera le futur stade du club à 90 000 places. PSG wanted to purchase the stadium, but city officials dragged out the discussions until the Qatari owners, led by Nasser Al-Khelaifi, lost patience. Frustrated, they shut down negotiations and opted for a fresh start, building a new stadium that aligns with the club’s ambitions and financial power. According to the French newspaper L’Essentiel de l’Éco, Massy was the logical choice for several reasons. First, it offers a large enough area to accommodate such a vast football complex. It is only about 15 kilometers from central Paris, has strong transport infrastructure, and is well connected to the city. However, the key role was played by Massy’s mayor, Nicolas Samsoen, who reportedly conducted discreet negotiations with PSG officials, which intensified in recent weeks. Since there was no local opposition to the construction, PSG easily settled on Massy. According to sources close to the newspaper, the project has already been presented in Doha and received approval from the highest levels. They bring in players with the same names as PSG!?The project, worth over a billion euros, will include a 90,000-seat stadium, shops, cafés, restaurants, hotels, and other facilities. It will be a true urban project—something between a sports complex and a next-generation business district. Before making their final decision, PSG had considered four other locations in Paris. However, they often faced opposition from city officials. For example, Ris-Orangis had offered PSG land that was already under development, proposing to modify the existing rugby federation project. In the end, all other options were ruled out. PSG chose to build a branded facility designed not just for football but also for concerts, cultural events, and other large gatherings—a venue tailored to the club’s needs. For now, PSG has not made any official announcements, as they are waiting for final approvals from political stakeholders. However, the decision has been made.2026 WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS – AFRICATuesday16:00: (1.30) Botswana (5.00) Somalia (12.0)19:00: (2.00) Angola (2.90) Cape Verde (4.30)19:00: (4.00) Benin (2.70) S.Africa (2.20)19:00: (1.28) Nigeria (5.40) Zimbabwe (12.0)19:00: (1.53) Rwanda (3.70) Lesotho (7.75)19:00: (3.00) Uganda (2.95) Guinea (2.45)22:00: (1.10) Burundi (10.5) Seychelles (22.0)22:00: (1.35) Cameroon (4.60) Libya (10.5)22:00: (1.17) Egypt (7.25) Sierra Leone (17.0)22:00: (1.35) Sudan (4.60) South Sudan (10.5)00:00: (1.38) Algeria (4.40) Mozambique (10.0)00:00: (1.17) Comores (7.50) Chad (16.0)00:00: (3.20) Mauritania (2.80) Dr Congo (2.60)00:00: (1.30) Senegal (5.20) Togo (11.0)00:30: (1.12) Morocco (9.50) Tanzania (19.0)***odds are subject to changes***
