We knew that in the first 10 or so minutes, they would be on the front foot. We wanted them to fall in our trap and they did that.We just wanted to ensure that we do not concede at that moment. If you look back at the first 15-20 minutes, they were the better side, and I applaud my boys for getting it right then,” he added.##NAJAVA_MECA_8884579##While appreciating the fans and his team, Okidi also revealed that breaking the ‘Machakos Curse’ was aso at stake.“We had also been playing well in Machakos, taking the lead but again allowing opponents to come back and equalize. We were also keen on breaking that jinx.I want to thank the fans, the technical bench and the players for the win.”
