Police respond to attack on Daily Nation journalist at Dandora Stadium

Omollo was taken to hospital, where he is still admitted and receiving treatment.In response to a statement by the Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) condemning the violence on Omollo, the Police spokesperson Muchiri Nyaga said that the Inspector General (IG) of Police, Douglas Kanja, is in receipt of the complaint and appropriate action will be taken on the officer(s) involved.##NAJAVA_MECA_8894126##“IG has received your deeply concerning text about an incident where a sports journalist was injured on Sunday.This is regrettable, and as NPS, we assure you of our commitment to act within the law.
