Kenyan referee among 10 candidates considered for U20 AFCON final

Kenyan referee Dickens Mimisa is among the 10 center referees who are being considered to officiate the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (U20 AFCON) final in Egypt. With only two matches remaining before curtains close on the continental tourney, CAF has released majority of match officials back to their federations, opting to remain with just a few who will take charge in the two matches. Hosts Egypt will face Kenya’s group opponents Nigeria in the third-place playoff while Rising Stars’ other group stage opponent, Morocco will lock horns with South Africa in the final. ##NAJAVA_MECA_8931528##Mimisa is among the ten centre referees who are still in Egypt and could be the main whistler in the final.
