From 73 million pounds in 2021 to just £25 million in 2025. What a valuation cut for Jadon Sancho. The current Manchester United winger is experiencing a career downfall which started….well, almost as soon as he signed for the Red Devils in 2021. Needles to say, he never managed to justify the enormous price tag and the pressure of being in Manchester United, (whose fans act like Sir Alex Ferguson is still running the club) didn’t help either. His future is over at Old Trafford as Ruben Amorim decided he doesn’t need former England international, so he will likely spent the whole of July in England, along other unwanted players (Garnacho, Rashford, Antony), while his teammates will be in the USA on a pre-season tour. So, are there any good news for Sancho at the moment?Amorim getting rid of four playersYes, there are. If we look into the history books, the vast majority of players who left Manchester in the last decade actually became better footballers away from Old Trafford. So, Sancho should be happy that he is leaving the club. And the other good news is that there are actually two clubs interested in him, and they are both playing in the Champions League. It sounds very unrealistic, but yes, Jadon Sancho is being tracked by Juventus and Napoli. Both clubs are aware that he is available and both managers know that he will cost around 25 million pounds, which is a reasonable price, especially for Italian clubs, who are not financially competitive for years now. Manchester decided to cut costs and allow Sancho to leave for less money, not only because he is not in Amorim’s plans, but also because his contract is up next season, and this is the last chance to get any kind of money for him.Dortmund is out of Sancho raceSancho spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Chelsea, but was not a regular starter under Enzo Maresca. The 25-year-old scored three goals and provided five assists in 31 Premier League appearances with the Blues last season and they decided against signing him, and even paid a five million pounds penalty, just to avoid singing him. But Napoli needs a winger and Antonio Conte already turned one Manchester ‘flop’ into a winner (Scott McTominay), so why not doing it again? According to Sky Sport Italia, the Neapolitans are already negotiating with the player’s representatives, since the Sancho’s wages in Manchester are totally out of reality for their possibilities and want to sort out that first.
