After Kepa, Arsenal looking at another Chelsea player

It’s not a secret that Arsenal is looking to strengthen in all departments this season. The Gunners are going ‘all in’ for the title which has been so close for them since Mikel Arteta took over, but also so far away. Considering the current form and number of quality signings, Liverpool is the biggest candidate for another title, but Arsenal is preparing well. Kepa Arrizabalaga came from Chelsea, Cristhian Mosquera is a targeted defender from Valencia, Martín Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard are agreed in order to strengthen the midfield, while the attack and the left wing have been targeted as the critical areas. Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko are in the mix for the striking position, while Arteta is actively looking for a winger. Rodrygo, Eze and Lookman are all mentioned, but Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that the Gunners also made a bid for Noni Madueke from Chelsea.African star in negotiations with ArsenalThe reason is simple, the Blues recently acquired Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, but at the forward positions they already have Jackson, Delap, Sterling, Guiu, Nkunku, Fofana, Palmer, Estevao and Pedro Neto. Somebody will have to go, and apart from Newcastle, Arsenal would like to bring Madueke. He stands out for his directness from a wide starting position; only three players averaged more touches in the penalty area per game last season, while 33 per cent of his total carries were progressive, a higher share than everyone apart from Jeremy Doku. The 23-year-old is a skillful, positive dribbler who loves to drive into dangerous areas, and would be a perfect competitor to Gabriel Martinelli, who is yet to become a reliable star. So, another Chelsea player could switch one London area with another, but let’s not forget this – Rodrygo is the ultimate transfer target for Mikel Arteta, and the club will first try to get him.FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP 20251/8 finalsTuesdayManchester City – Al Hilal 3-4 AET (2-2)/Silva 9, Haaland 55, Foden 104 – Leonardo 46, 112, Malcom 52, Koulibaly 94/22.00: (1.67) Real Madrid (3.70) Juventus (5.50)Wednesday04.00: (1.80) Dortmund (3.60) Monterrey (4.60)***odds are subject to change***
