Sports CS Ababu Namwamba says embattled FKF President, Nick Mwendwa’s return to football is a decision that will be made by the FKF leadership should he be cleared by the courts.Mwendwa is currently facing charges of misappropriation of funds and he has vehemently denied committing such an offense. He has termed the allegations leveled against him as political and a year later, he is yet to take a plea.##NAJAVA_MECA_6854015##The football honcho was severally arrested in 2021 after a report by the sports registrar indicated that funds at the federation had been misappropriated. It resulted in FKF’s removal from office, former CS Amina Mohammed went ahead to install a caretaker committee to run football activities in the country.New sports CS Namwamba has since restored FKF. The federation is however led by vice president Doris Petra as Mwendwa battles to clear his name in court.
