FKF Leagues to proceed despite SDT ruling

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced that its leagues will proceed as usual despite a recent ruling by the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) that basically overruled Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba’s decision to restore FKF’s National Executive Committee (NEC). NEC nullified all leagues that were run by the FKF Caretaker Committee and what that meant is that there would be no relegation and promotion in the top-tier, the National Super League, Division One and the Women Premier League (WPL), a decision that was obviously contested by some affected clubs.
