Sacked Pamzo relieved after Kenya Police exit

In his first interview since being replaced as the head coach of Football Kenya Federation Premier League outfit Police FC, Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo has said he feels “relieved.”Police have had a rough start to the new 2022-23 season against all expectations, and remain without a win in three fixtures. The team has recorded two losses and a draw.To get things back on track and to start enjoying the fruits of a heavy investment in the squad, the management decided to replace Pamzo with Francis Baraza.Francis Baraza is the new Kenya Police FC Head Coach taking Over from Sammy Pamzo Omollo. In pre-season I had built the team around the boy and even in our last friendly match against Tusker he scored. Ohaga goes missing as SDT fails to clarify on promotion and relegation caseIt is a very big let up for me and I wish I knew he was not going to be part of the team then I would have built the team around someone else,” the tactician said.Abuya is said to have traveled to Tanzania to seal a move to SIngida Big Stars move earlier on in August but the move fell through. However, the manner of the departure left Omollo with a huge headache.
