Injured City Stars rookie Pius Omachi to wait longer for league debut

Nairobi City Stars attacking midfielder Pius Omachi will have to wait a little longer to sample the Kenyan top flight following an injury in pre-season that continues to keep him out of action.The Dagoretti High alumnus and a former striker with division one side Vapor Sports missed out on all 18 preseason games inclusive of action in the inaugural Elite pre-season Cup.##NAJAVA_MECA_6892406##While he remains overly patient, he shared his sentiments on his stay at City Stars thus far since joining in July alongside his teammate at Vapor, Newton Ochieng.“So far so good. I am happy at the club, with the technical bench, and with my teammates. Everybody is amazing and working hard so as to make a difference in our league encounters. I am happy that the young players are being featured in the league games. Coach (Nicholas Muyoti) has trusted every player. I am determined to be back, and I will be back stronger,” he told club website.He further went on to commend the senior players for helping the rookies seamlessly integrate into the establishment.The club shopped for relatively young players during the past transfer windows who have gone on to display flashes of brilliance in league matches although their efforts are yet to bear fruit as the club remains winless, five rounds into the term.Omachi keen on flourishing at City Stars after sealing move from Vapor“They are the best and encouraging all the young players who joined the club recently.
