International football is emotion but club football is quality

We enjoyed and cheered at the World Cup, but it didn’t take long for the clubs to remind us how different everything is when you have a team together for a year. Just four days after the World Cup final in Qatar, in the League Cup round of 16 clash, Manchester City and Liverpool made us forget everything we’ve seen in the last month.Because as Jamie Carragher, the former stopper of Liverpool, and now an expert consultant, says, this kind of football is not played at international level.”I admire both clubs, both coaches. What we saw was absolutely brilliant. Neither of them gave an inch,” Carragher was impressed.Grand return of club football – Haaland feels alive again, Liverpool crash out of the EFL CupRegardless of the fact that his Liverpool lost 3-2.”City were by far the better team, but huge respect to Liverpool for staying in the game at all. We missed this, didn’t we?” asked Carragher. He didn’t mean specifically City and Liverpool, although the question is whether anyone else can put on a show like this.”Club football is simply a different dimension compared to international football. During international tournaments countries come together, we saw those scenes when they celebrated in Argentina. It’s an emotion. But the quality, especially when these team play, can’t be matched,” Carragher was determined.##NAJAVA_MECA_6906284##Micah Richards is of a similar opinion.”Brilliant game, they didn’t stop. Strange at times, because Liverpool made the same mistakes in the first half. But only when you see City’s starting eleven and compare them to Liverpool’s line-up, you expect the Citizens to win.”
