FKF working hard to clean its image

The current Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) season is well into round five with no title and broadcast sponsor although Sports and Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba has been on record lately assuring football faithfuls that it is just a matter of time before SuperSport, the renowned sports broadcaster, announces its return to the top league. FKF CEO Barry Otieno admits it has not been easy for the federation to bag crucial partners due to the fact that the federation was mostly embroiled in a push and pull with the Government in the past year, something that led to a ban from international football by FIFA. Before the gaming firm came on board, the league had been without an official sponsor since 2019.
