Arsenal fans in Kenya through their various supporter groups are set to hold prayer days in various churches starting this weekend. Among the agendas is praying for the club (Arsenal) as well as their other annual activities. Arsenal Kenya Nairobi Branch Chairman Anthony Kiarie aka Tiki The Brand confirmed the same to Mozzart Sport. “We, Arsenal fans in Kenya, have many branches. I am the chairman of the Nairobi branch and our prayer day is set for Sunday 15th January. We have other branches that will hold theirs this Sunday. Actually most branches host their annual prayer days every first Sunday of the year,” Kiarie revealed. We meet as members, pray for the club and all our other activities that we intend to do in the year. We have charity runs that benefit the less privileged in the community and so many other activities that do good to the local communities despite the fact that it is our love for a club in England that has brought us together,” “The main problem with local football is disorganisation. Arsenal sends original merchandise to us every year, magazines, scarfs and many other things. We feel appreciated and loved by the club that we support. The club plays attractive football and still markets itself globally and therefore we just automatically align with it.
