A late goal from Marvin Nabwire saw Kenya Police register the second win of the season following the hard fought 2-1 victory over Kariobangi Sharks at Kasarani Annex.Sharks were headed for fifth draw of the campaign but Nabwire struck late to give Police the three points and inflict the first loss on Sharks.Despite having nine players who have played for the national team, Harambee Stars team before, Police struggled to keep up with the pace injected by the youthful Sharks players who were hungry from onset. Musa had tried to intercept and clear a cross delivered by Shariff Musa but did not catch the ball cleanly and hence, it fell on the way of Omoto who drove the ball to the farthest corner beating the exposed Job Ochieng. Police who leveled matters in the 26th minute through Elvis Rupia who netted from the spot after he was brought down by the advancing John Otieno who caught him late. Sharks old boys Patilah Omoto and Duke Abuya attempted to beat Otieno through long shots but the youthful goalkeeper denied his erstwhile teammates. The changes Police made in the second half added more spark on their side at the expense of Sharks who managed the pressure and had to respond through counterattacks.
