Bidco United picked their second win of the season in style after thrashing AFC Leopards 4-1 in an FKF Premier League match staged at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.Ahead of the game, Leopards were seeking to make it two wins in a row after their midweek win over Nairobi City Stars while Bidco, with just one win all season were out to bounce from their midweek loss to Nzoia Sugar FC.The first golden opportunity went Leopards’ way in the 9th minute when Cliff Nyakeya won possession at the edge of Bidco box with keeper Daniel Odiwuor out of his line, the keeper however managed to recover and blocked his shot for a corner kick. The central defender pounced on a loose ball at the edge of the area after Ingwe failed to clear a corner kick properly and fired home with a low drive. A minute later Ojo Olaniyi should have drawn Leopards level but he somehow headed over the bar with the goal at his mercy.The striker made up for his miss four minutes later heading home the leveler. He rose high in the area to head home a Cliff Nyakeya delivery from the corner spot.Opiyo was called into action in the 44th minute to deny Alex Juma who was through on goal. He superbly blocked the winger’s shot that looked goal bound. Odiwuor pulled another superb save five minutes later to deny Olaniyi.Against the run of play, United went ahead through substitute Henry Juma. The attacker clamly controlled a long ball from his keeper Odiwour before dinking Ingwe keeper Opiyo.The introduction of Juma and Emmanuel Mogaka appeared to have handed United a much needed new lease of life and in the 74th minute Eric Gichimu made it 3-1 after collecting another long ball from the back.United continued to punish Leopards’ high line with a fourth goal in the 81st minute.
