All the Kenya Police Football Club players who graduated from the General Service Unit (GSU) Training School in Embakasi on Thursday have been posted to Vigilance House in Nairobi.Nine Police FC players alongside former Nairobi City Stars left back Bolton Omwenga were among the 991 recruits who successfully passed out on Thursday in a ceremony that was presided over by President William Ruto.##NAJAVA_MECA_6945120##Police FC Chief Executive Officer Chris Mmbwanga confirmed that his arsenals were posted to the Kenya Police Headquarters, Vigilance House located in Harambee Avenue in Nairobi.The administrator revealed that players were posted to the headquarters in interest of convenience as they are supposed to discharge both official and football duties going forward.How football talent broke barriers for Wadadia trainer Joy WanjauHe said attaching the players to a Nairobi based work station will also enable them go through the induction program during the off-the-pitch hours.”Our players who graduated on Thursday have been posted at Vigilance House. They can be redeployed to stations outside Nairobi after calling time on their football careers, ” he asserted.The nine players who passed out include former Gor Mahia skipper Harun Shakava, former national U20 team assistant captain Yusuf Mainge. The versatile Soita Silicho, goalkeepers;Job Ochieng and Reuben Juma as well as David Owino successfully completed the training.They were joined by defensive midfielder Daniel Musamali, forward David Simiyu and central defender Kevin Ouma.Kenya seeks inclusion in 2023 Africa Cup of NationsMeanwhile, the APS Bomet duo of Chris Wilunda and Dominic Kirui who recently graduated from the Administration Police Training College, Embakasi have been posted at the Border Patrol Unit headquarters in Kanyonyoo, Kitui.The two defenders exited the Bomet camp in April for the training but according to the club’s Chief Executive Officer Rose Chemutai, they will be available for selection going forward.”I can confirm that Wilunda and Kirui have been posted at Kanyonyoo.
